Class registration must be completed online through our AVIP Customer Portal. You may begin class(es) the day you register or the next scheduled Skating School Day. If you need a specific start date, please sign up on that day or notify our Skating School Director, Libby, at email@example.com.
Your recurring monthly billing begins on the date you’ve registered your skater. For example, you registered on October 3rd, your next monthly payment will be on November 3rd then December 3rd and so on. If you need to change the date of your recurring charge, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Make sure that your skater is dressed warmly. Don’t forget to bring gloves or mittens. All protective gear (i.e. helmets, knee pads, etc) is optional . Please arrive early. Lane assignments will be posted at the entrances to the ice and at the Box Office. These charts will let you know where you need to go and also who your instructor will be. Skates should be snug and be tied tightly. If you have any questions about fitting skates, please ask for assistance. Beginner classes will meet off the ice first next to the Pro Shop on the first day of class.
A free practice session is included on the day of your class. To redeem each practice session, students are required to check in at the box office to receive a wristband prior to entering the ice. Please remember these practice sessions are for the student only. We encourage all students to use this ice time to maximize their skating potential.
If you miss a class, you can email to schedule a make-up class.
There is a limit to 1 make up session per month per skater. Skaters can only take a make-up class in another class of the same level. Make up classes are non-transferable from skater to skater.
To qualify for a make up class, you must email our Learn to Skate Program Director, Coach Libby, at email@example.com and get your make up class APPROVED before coming to your make up class.
All make up classes must be scheduled 48 hours in advance. Make up classes can only be used while currently enrolled in AVIP Skating School and missed make up classes cannot be rescheduled. Cancellation of your enrollment will lead to forfeiture of unused make up classes.
We regret that a cancellation is necessary. If you would like to discuss other arrangements please contact Libby at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A cancellation form must be filled out in person at the box office. All forms must be submitted to the box office 30 days before the skater’s last lesson. Cancellation of your enrollment will lead to forfeiture of unused make up classes.
